Then why didn't they do this sooner then? I think it would've save Sony a lot of money in the long run if they would've released the PS3 slim at launch. If my math is right then 70% of $600(not including tax) is 180 and so they would've most likely gained a surplus than suffer a defecit of the PS3's production. So what do you think?
