Honestly, all of you guys are in way too deeply. Reasonable said it best, it's a purely technical interview (which I was fortunate enough to read before this thread came along and poured bias all over it), and the comment is justified within the interview.

So, to all the guys shouting at kowenicki, you know he has a point (however misdirected it is in this case), stop acting like it's the end of the world. And to kowenicki and NJ5, it may seem like your typical "teh C3LL is ftw!" developer talk, but it isn't, and so all your comment are quite "missing the point".

I'm not shouting at Kowenicki, I'm just pointing out that if a developer can make a downloadable game, which is around 1/3 the size of a Capcom install, run at 60 fps and look brilliant, why can't these massive developers with tens of millions of dollars for a budget do the same? Kowenicki argues that it's because they are a Sony subsidiary, but I pointed out that Rockstar and Infinity Ward aren't Sony subsidiaries, and their games run fine.
