So stateing the obvious is trolling and insulting? The first link says it all. Current trends in video games that sell well are described. Action, blood, foul language, etc. are all the 'norm' in blockbuster games. Its not insulting to say that. Gears, CoD, Halo, GoW, etc. Is it a bad thing? Not necessarily.
