This has been discussed before, but the reason devs aren't working with Wii isn't just because its weaker. It's a question of momentum. By the time Wii rolled around, and it became apparent that it would be a significant force in the industry (let alone by the time its utter dominance become apparent), devs had already invested in HD System development. They had found their markets and were going to stick with it, because they have easy money on the PS360, and they feel recasting themselves to develop outside that isn't worth the investment.
People will know by the next generation from the get-go that it's worth it to develop on Nintendo platforms, and Nintendo just may conform to the existing development tech for the PS360. The focus of development will be on Nintendo first, and if Sony and Microsoft move too far up the tech scale, they're the ones who are going to have to worry. Probably. |
I highly doubt this means developers can't produce quality titles for the Wii.
