For me the main issue is the lack of wiimote controls.
That was a major disappointment for me since the wiimote would make the controls 10xs better.
However I still plan on getting the game.
As far as other gamers, there are many that are graphic whores or action whores and need those things to merit a purchase. Other people probably get the wrong idea from the style and think its too simple. Finally there is little to no marketing so its basically going on word of mouth and some review sites. Remember MOST wii owners do not check gaming sites and don't really know much about releases.
