Policemen are easily replaced, Harvard Professors aren't?
Also words such as nigger/negro have a history. It suggests that you think black people are slaves to white people and are less human than white people. If a black guy called me a snowman I wouldn't be offended.
Thats why racist slurs against black people are worse than the other way round; The Slave Trade.
