The relative value of currency is only one of many indicator as to the health of a nations economy.
But, like you said, you arn't particularly knowledgable when it comes to economics, and I highly doubt that anyone here is. Regardless, this argument is going to come to nothing but misconstrued facts, half truths and patriotic banter, just like console arguments
