It's THESE kinds of statements that always make me shake my head....Ummm, inFAMOUS and Killzone 2 are chopped liver? What about Demon's Souls, or Ratchet & Clank? The PS3, so far, has actually seen plenty of games this year exclusive to it.

I don't follow what you're saying, at all! And Alan Wake is coming out at a whole entire different period. How do their sales even coincide?

Also, I find it interesting that people, who normally do nothing but bash Sony and the PS3, frequent these kinds of threads.

Hey, there's a lot less Xbox fans visiting Sony threads than vice versa. The last Alan Wake thread was infested with haters that downplayed everything about it. I'm just trying to be an equalizer.

Infamous is not a big game, it will barely sell a million. It's very far from being GOTY material. And while Ratchet may be a popular & nice game, it's in the same class with Banjo Kazoi and Viv Pinata, nothing you mention in GOTY discussions.

So besides Uncharted II there's only KZ2 that will be a contender for PS3 GOTY 2009. But not only was KZ2 released very early in the year, which gives it a natural disadvantage among voters, but I am very confident that Uncharted II will be praised more and win GOTY without much effort.

As for Alan Wake vs Uncharted II, what does it matter if they release ½ year apart? Both are important and hyped exclusives, both have a lot of movie influences (the music, story telling structure etc), both have adventure, action and explorer elements. Both cater to the mainstream action game players. And they are predicted to sell around 3 million each. I think it's a very interesting matchup, and my internal goal is that Alan Wake will beat Uncharted II in sales.

What else on PS3 would you match up against Alan Wake? Certainly not Heavy Rain anymore, anyone should realize by now that Heavy Rain will be slain in sales.

1) I disagree... I see loads of MS fans in the SONY forums these days. How would I know??? I rarely even glance at the MS Forums...

2) inFamous scored higher on IGN and Gamespot than Uncharted 1 did. This site has inFamous at 631K sales with just the first 4 weeks. Judging by your game collection, I don't even think you have the system needed to play inFamous...

3) Why is it that every thread has to turn into a sales discussion??? When GT5's the talk, we have to compare it to predicted Forza 3 sales...
When it's FF13, we gotta compare predicted sales of the two platform versions... KEEP IT IN THE SALES DISCUSSION. This thread was about graphics. What's the point of the sales forum anymore?
