An interesting read although there is a mistake regarding The Conduit having ragdoll physics. Thankfully it doesn't (I really can't see the attraction, it looks crap imo) and uses motion capture for the animations of dying enemies.

And the Quantum3 engine has come along in leaps and bounds since The Conduit went gold. Their imposter instancing technique can allow hundreds or even thousands of models on screen at once without a significant drop in framerate. Obviously, the more detailed the models are the less the engine will be able to handle but it wouldn't surprise me if The Grinder has 100+ nicely bump mapped monsters/undead types on screen at once when it's released.

A proper Dead Rising clone with a working camera anyone..?!? Capcom would have a bloody fit lololol
