First of all, what type of games do you like? I ask that not to be smart but because you are not going to get full return on your investment and there still might be something in the Wii catalog that might appeal to you.
Second, if you do decide to sell -- which is your right -- sell locally and sell soon. It just feels like there is going to be a price drop. And if Nintendo drops it $50, the used value drops by $50 plus.
