It's really simple and Carl makes sense. If Ps2 slim had games you can ONLY PLAY on the slim it would be a whole new console since Ps2 fat owners would have to upgrade to play said games. Same thing is being said for DS/DSI. There is DSI games exclusive that you can't play on original DS which means it's technically a new console. If PsP GO only offers downloadable games for PsP Go (which they aren't) it would be a new console as well.
Either way I have no opinion on wether or not the sales of ds should be seperated. My opinions on DS outselling a home console are another story though. |
The PSP Go example is a bit odd. If I can't play the games on UMD with PSP Go, shouldn't it be counted differently from PSP?
