Seriously read the new post on mlg before you make a thread. The madden tournament for mlg is a one off event, just like their resistance and mgs online tournament. The only reason their using PS3's is that sony is sponsoring the tournament.
So for a one time tournament with undefined first place pay out in an very niche part of the gaming sector the clear answer is it will have absolutely no effect.
