I prefer the DS version (not because of the graphics, but because of the difficulty). Kill any monster/boss without effort and finish the game without any problem isn't for me.
I love to say: "ooooooh goood, that boss was really hard, but wasn't enough to kill me (at least not for the third time)! Yeeah I am totally badass, I knew it 
".
