I don't really understand why this is a bad thing. It was pretty clear while Red Steel 2 was looking like it had a lot of potential that it was being RUSHED for holiday 2009, just like the first Red Steel was rushed out for the Wii launch.
They said they really only started on this version from the ground up when Wii Motion Plus was unveiled, which means they've really only been working on this game for about a year of development time.
You may have to wait longer but a Q1, maybe even Q2 release IMO is going to result in a much, much better game. Who knows, maybe they can even now bring in a multiplayer mode and really flesh out the Wii Motion Plus mechanics.
