People insult what they don't understand and look foolish.
And given the statement, Lionsgate not only does not seem to understand video games, but it does not seem to understand movies as well.

PS -- If you want a movie that breaks all the rules, Transformers is it. Big money but poor reviews (sounds like a lot of Wii games). Violent but being marketed toward children (sounds like a reason for a Congressional hearing but they are too busy looking into video games -- or it sounds like play sessions on Xbox Live (or maybe people just act like/sound like children with their cursing and other improper comments -- take your pick)
