what are you talking about.
u have to cover bowser in mario 1, and then he jump pass fast and cut the bridge. =P
i never actually give credit to gears to it covers system. i find it simple require tons of walls to stick in the whole game, liked uncharted that u can push tables and turn then into covers.
but all this it's just a follow up of an old idea. and no one can patent.
