The Standart Wii would be able to outsell the X720 and PS4 even for a few months or maybe an entire first year of launch of these systems.
Nintendo is making a shitload of money with their console, they won't throw out a console just for the sake of being HD, because that is proven to be not the right strategy.
They will release a new console when they can sell a machine more powerfull than PS3 for maybe ~220$ and having profit on it. Not losses.
Xmas 2012 is my prediction. Till there we will se a Wii Plus, kind of DSi and DS Lite.
