I'm pulling this out of my ass, but I could bet that most people probably don't even buy the component cables to get a better image out of the Wii...
I'm sure many of you have seen people who buy a great flat-screen HDTV and then don't even set it up properly. Most people don't care or know much about image quality.
Hint: People buy HDTVs because they're big, light, look good and their neighbor has one.
