Yeah too bad I don't like GTA4 :P but I try other open world games and generally like them more.

What would you reccomend for XBLA?  I'm seriously thinking about Vigilante 8 since that's my favorite car combat game.

Get Vigilante 8 then. I hear it's pretty good. Ask someone that owns it about whether the online community is dead or alive, if that matters to you at all. I suggest the following titles:

Big name originals

1. Braid
2. N+
3. Castle Crashers
4. Geometry Wars 2
5. Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix

Unsung originals

1. Pinball FX
2. Outpost Kaloki X
3. Poker Smash
4. Carcassonne
5. Aces of the Galaxy

Previous gen ports

1. Castlevania: SOTN
2. Ikaruga
3. Doom
4. Gunstar Heroes
5. Prince of Persia Classic

Vigilante 8 has always gone unnoticed it seems I love the series myself I don't really care if the community is dead since I play it local on N64 and PS1 when I can still.

Since I have 1600 points Vigilante 8 is going to take 800 and I'll have 800 left should I go ahead and spend the 5 bucks to get 1200 points to get castle crashers or just get something like splosion man, monkey island, or Castlevania SOTN

I can't in good conscience recommend you anything but Braid. It's an amazing game. Way, way up there for this generation. If you plan on getting it for PC though, then I recommend SOTN if you've never played it. It's also one of the greatest games ever. If you have played it, don't get it just yet. Go for N+, Ikaruga or Castle Crashers, depending on whichever appeals to you more.

I don't have Splosion Man or Monkey Island so I can't recommend them.

Played SOTN who hasn't you know.  Ikaruga is a treasure game and they generally never dissapoint.  I'm downloading Splosion Man demo and I've never had the pleasure of playing a Monkey Island game in my life, though I was going to pick up the PS2 monkey island but like ICO when I finally got my PS2 it was no where to be found.

Braid I might get I played the PC demo I thought it was alright really didn't understand the hype around it, I would pick it up if it were 5 dollars cheaper, I was thinking of waitinf to see if steam ever has a sale on it since they're generally pretty good about that.
