I think Nintendo is in the right position to take this kind of move, remember casuals are a different market, look at the ipod they release one every year with barely no upgrade, if Nintendo released an HD console next year they would catch up with the HD consoles and beat them in the progress imagine a Wii with slightly better graphics that the HD consoles, with updated wii controls (wiimote + motion plus + ?¿?¡surprise) it would inmediatly put them ahead on the competition, it would atract both hardcore and casual gamers alike since both would get something better earlier than expected, and the Wii1 would still sell tons
