Great job so far. Just asking about the low amount of genres it seems you'll be doing. Unless you just forgot about them, which is understandable. It's hard thinking of every far reaching genre on the best damn platform of all time.

Oh and in addition to the two games Words of Wisdom mentioned, you also forgot The Dark Spire under the RPG category. It would go under dungeon crawler like Orcs and Elves.

I forgot about strategy/simulation.  I'm probably not going to add anything that teaches or trains you. There will also be an others section for genres that don't have many good games or many games at all on the DS such as racing.

You're going to leave out an entire genre of games, especially one as important and DS centric as productivity games are? That's like leaving Wii Fit off a "Why you should buy a Wii" thread. It doesn't make sense. If you're willing to put just about any damn RPG in existence on your list, regardless of general quality or regional release, then I don't see any reason why games as important as Personal Trainer, My Coach, and 100 Classic Book Collection can't make it on. They're better reasons to own a DS than half the games you'll decide to put on your list.

Also you forgot Ys 1 and 2 collection on your RPG list.

About racing, there may not be too many, but there's probably enough to warrant a small dedicated section. Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, Grid and Race Driver, Speed Racer, Need for Speed Carbon and Prostreet, Trackmania and upcoming games like Dirt 2, Need for Speed Nitro, Monster Racers, Moto Racer DS and Sonic & Sega Allstars Racing.

I recognize the genre is there, and it is a prominant one, but this thread is suppose to target the demographic that goes on forums. If you wish I will at the more popular ones like brain age, but obscure things like My Spanish Coach which are pretty much the low of the low when trying to learn something.(You could probably get much better education from any text book/class. Basically I'll add anything that has some following on the forum. That is why I left out about half the DS' RPGs(yes my list has 3/4ths at most). This list isn't meant to list every game of every genre, just the ones that at least a small group that goes to forums seem to like. Who knows though, I might add the section if enough people ask about it. I have plenty of room.


@Hisiru Some of those are going under action adventure, Strategy, or some other genre; while others I've already added and you must have missed. As for the rest I will add quite a few of them, I don't know about all of them.
