He clearly didn't mean that, since not only Monster Hunter, but also the sequel to Spyborgs. I think his comment is that it's not that common on the Wii, but still poorly worded. Really poorly worded.

Oh that wasn't just aimed at him. That's why I left that first part vague.

 

My point is broader than that. It is unbelievably stupid to tell someone to buy a different system because they want online co-op in an exclusive game. If this were a multi-platform game, and the PS360 version did have online co-op while the Wii version didn't he  would have something close to a valid argument. As it stands he is essntially telling people that want the game and online co-op to spend $200-$400 on a system that cannot play it at all.

THIS. That's like telling someone that wants DLC in FF13 to buy a Wii and Animal Crossing because it does have DLC. It makes no fucking sense. I know fanboys aren't fans of logic but they could at least pretend that there was some coherence to their own arguments. As it stands, such a statement is so far out of relevance (or reality for that matter) that it comes off as desperate trolling.
