Now that's one prediction that is down to earth....
I can't believe how many people on this site, a sales site, still believe games can sell 3M on a 3M userbase....or even a 4M userbase for that matter.
This FF will be a Flop in japan, it'll sell only 2M lifetime (that's assuming the PS3 grows to 5M at least).
Remember FFVII:CC sold only 1M and that was supposed to appeal to the die hard FF fans on a 12M userbase of PSPs... so the ones willing to spend 400$ for just one game... (great game though I love how they made it very portable friendly with the missions).
