i do like chess, and online sounds nice, if you can have matches against random people as well as friends listed, and if it is considerably budget (£20 or less RRP, so i might be able to find it for less) then just maybe.
chess is my favourite board game after monopoly, but none of my family know how to play (and are not bothered about me teaching them) except for my sister who i taught, but she doesn't want to play very often (i think the main reason she ley me teach her was because we have a simpsons chess set)
