Seeing as you haven't mentioned how you set up your consoles, I'll have to assume that this is why.

my wii is connected via component cables and the gc games i played were through my wii.

i also have a ps3 and 360 which are connected via hdmi. i just booted up halo 1 and that looks much better imo than the conduit, at least as far as jagged edges go.
