It is a bit old, but I feel like lamenting the NP staff a bit. :)
The last issue of NP alerted everyone to the upcoming changes, but they weren't too sure whether they would be keeping their jobs or not. Sadly it doesn't sound like they will. I really thought the staff did a great job. The last year or so the magazine had really stepped it's game up: very professional looking, reviews that actually had some bite to them, and some decent humour from time to time. Also, I believe I read that the guy that is taking over NP used to head the official PlayStation mag? From what little I read, he sounds like a cool guy and I'm sure he'll do a fine job.
Well, change sucks, but at least NP didn't get cancelled like the rumours were stating. :)
