by alot it's a going abit overboard.

by numbers Cell destroy everything on the market and double the power of the 360.

but when the gpu are similar being 360 easier to program... and most developer don't use the cpu to do things like offloading the gpu tasks u end up with a subpart port because of the use of engines that don't work with the cell and RSX.

if programmers can use the cpu efficient you will stay at 6th gen graphics. if the wii was released at the same time of GC the story would have been different.

 

You are talking about ease of development, which has nothing to do with this thread. The Wii easily has higher potential than the Xbox , it's not even a contest.
