Infinity Ward's decision. Treyarch has no problem with the Wii. Infinity Ward needs the processing power. They just can't work the Wii well enough to do. Lack of skills. Lack of skills.

Still, I wonder if N-Space is going to make Modern Warfare 2 for the DS?

I dont think it has much to do with lack of skills.. I mean if they can make  a PS3 and 360 game, how can they not make a wii game? Its just they do not like the wii, neither does Epic games.

 

 

The "lack of skills" part comes from the fact they don't want to challenge themselves by making a Wii version. They can make a good looking game on the 360/PS3 no problem but they can't do that on the Wii because it takes too much effort on their part. Making a Wii game actually look good by comparison is hard work so much so that I doubt they can actually do it. Realism is especially hard to do. That's why most Wii games that get high points in the graphics area are usually due to developers working around the systems limits. Usually they'll try using a good art style to push it. The Wii seems to take too much smart development, overcoming the system limits. The other systems have raw horsepower that can be easily tapped into so its easy to see why Infinity Ward would make that decision.

I honestly think that they CAN'T develop a game for the Wii. They could prove me wrong but why would/should they? They got nothing to lose from one person calling them cowards, especially on the internet.
