No, I am not. It is widely known that Microsoft once paid out $32 billion to investors to decrease their cash reserves:

Not saynig your lying, but why would you want to decrease your cash reserves?

Because they had money that they were not going to use, and stopped money is stale money which isn't doing anything for the owners of the company (i.e. the shareholders).

The shareholders got that money, and Microsoft still has more than enough cash to meet their needs. Everyone's happy.

 

I suppose when you got so much money you wouldn't know what to do with it anymore, you can see why they can throw so much money when making games timed exclusives and stuff
