I agree that those developers apparently don't like the Wii, but I disagree concerning the difficulty in programming for the Wii. When you have the power of the HD systems to use when programming a game, it's relatively easy to make the game look good and run well (although of course gameplay and story are entirely unrelated). This is the same as the PC. You often times have lazy PC developers who create a game with poorly optimized code that SHOULD be able to run on a single core 3ghz, but instead required a quad-core simply because they were lazy or not skilled enough to optimize their code. Wii developers however have much less to work with and thus must truly be talented to create a gorgeous Wii game that hold a high framerate. Sure it's easy to program for, and cheaper, but to truly get a fantastic looking game is still a challenge due to CPU/GPU limitations that less skillful developers can't work around.
Hardware is only a means to enjoy great games!
