Call of Duty 4 vs Call of Duty 5 - Which one is harder on veteran?

I haven't really played CoD 4 on Veteran, but in WaW the number of grenades is just unbearable, I gave up on "Their Land their Blood" and I realised that I would need to start a new game to get the "complete the game on hardened or above" as well
