Since the PSP Go was priced at $250 and the PS2 slim was released at the same price as the phat PS2.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard.

A. PSP Go! isn't just smaller. It has internal memory.

B. Sony is giving stores more money per system on the PSP Go! to make up for the lack of games retailers would sell.

C. Ps2 was selling phenominally.... why cut the price if you don't need to?

D. If it wasn't cheaper why do it at all? It is cheaper. The reason Sony did it was to get more profit per Ps2 sold... hell they might not of even been making a profit on the Ps2. They had a sell for loss per console stragety.

The consumer doesn't make the distinction between being smaller and having internal memory. Bottom line, it's more expensive.

Trust me, if the slim is real, it'll sell for at least $399, and the phat won't get a price cut at all.
