We do not lay out the features that we want in them. We do not write the stories. We do not license the wrestlers, vehicles, athletes or bands for any title on any system. We simply play and write about them. That bit aside, let it be known that every development team, including the folks at Yukes working on the SmackDown franchise, have limited resources. If they could include every single feature that everyone in the world could think of, they probably would, but it's impossible given the time that it takes to put these things into the game. You want a new release this year, right? As far as the blood goes, that may bring up a ratings issue. A little bit of spurting blood is different than blood that douses the ring and other wrestlers. Were the latter the case, you might see the game wind up with an M rating, which, in your case, probably means that you wouldn't be allowed to buy it. - Chris Roper, Editor-In-Chief, IGN PlayStation |
That reminds me of when I was, like, 6 or 7 and wrote Nintendo to ask them to put more guys (including the Ultimate Warrior~!~!~!) in "their" next WWF game.
