I disagree. Lower sales most likely mean that there's simply less people want a TPS on the PS3. Other reasons may include a game's poor quality, bad marketing, or stiff inner competition (e.g. MAG released near MW2). I don't think Uncharted suffered from poor quality, bad marketing, or stiff inner competition (at a time when the PS3 had a very small portfolio of titles). |
Well, I disagree with the thread as a whole, but I certainly think that the game didn't suffer poor quality.
However, this thread is about having "answers" for certain games.
That means you compare them.
Uncharted certainly had worse quality, and marketing than Gears of War(Uncharted had some flaws, you have to admit), and assuming Gears was the competition we speak of, it was and is certainly stiff...to say the least.
While the game was great, it is no competition for Gears of War, and certainly not a valid answer in the sense that the TC is speaking.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
