Wow, before E3, Sony was headed into the holidays with a majorly huge console lineup, and Microsoft was really looking shallow and crappy for this holiday.
After E3, we got Shadow Complex announced, ODST, Forza 3, and Splinter Cell looked better than expected, and L4D2 blew our socks off. We also got some really cool DLC coming in the forms of extra map-packs, Splosion Man, Gears 2, and maybe GTA4 stuff and the like.
I think that now, the 360 has a much better 09 holiday lineup than the PS3, and with Crackdown 2, ME2, Reach, and Alan Wake hitting next year, along with some cool muliplats like Bayonetta, Castlevania, Tekken, and XIII, the 360 has really made a huge comeback when it comes to upcoming software library. It's hard to argue that the PS3 has a much better upcoming library now....especially for this Xmas, at the very least. Without GT5, it'll get totally pwnd software and review wise this holiday, and that's no joke.
Releasing GT5 early next year will diminish its importance(like Killzone 2). If Sony is smart, they will get that sucker out the door this Xmas. Otherwise, they might have themselves a pickle on their hands.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
