Also Donkey Kong should have Donkey Kong 3, the Donkey Kong Countries, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, King of Swing, Jungle Climber, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

well probably because its the MARIO family tree.... the first couple are only there because they introduced mario, hence the dotted lines

Then why do Wario and Yoshi have their own branches?
