My Wiimote is a PITA to get working properly. I have a large screen and I have to calibrate it every time I sit somewhere else if I want anything remotely resembling fine control.
But for this setup to not be better than the Wiimote would instantly condemn it to failure. So really if it does work better, and theres a chance it could replace my Wii and I could enjoy workable motion controls this generation then I'd be all for it.
