No, it's not really useful to everyone. It's somewhat useful to everyone who owns a Wii. That's a completely different thing. To buy Wii Fit, you need to own a Wii. Thus, the people who can buy Wii Fit isn't ~ 1 billion, but ~ 50 million (at the moment).

There are, however, more than 50M core players. The potential sales are actually higher for the Ps3 than for Wii Fit. Wii Fit has just penetrated its market better.
