Battlefield 1943..... my opinion of the PSN demo

because in a proper FPS like BF is supposed to be after you die prompt you with a blown up map where you can select spawn or spawn where you last spawned. All I saw was me randomly being spawned at every controlled point. I might have been wrong but I should not have to hit anything when I die to select class and spawn. It should auto prompt and auto close within the spawn time.

That is how it is.  Every time you die you can either select a flag spawn from the blown up map or a squad mate to spawn on.  If the flag you last spawned to is still owned by your team, you can just hit spawn.  If your squad mate that you spawned to last is still alive, you can just hit spawn.  Pretty simple to me.

And BTW, this game never purported to be anything other than what it is.  They announced what it would be like when it was announced for the PSN and XBLA.

It never prompted it at all.. it just randomly spawns me someplace. Maybe something in the settings menu is set to auto spawn or something.
