I'd figure that Microsoft will use this game to entice people to upgrade to Windows 7. Creating a stir like this will make sure that the media focuses on this as an xbox 360 game and nothing else for the time being which is what they want.
Remember that this game was originally demoed on a quad core processor a few years ago to make a case for quad core pc gaming and to showcase DX10, then it disappeared for a while, now it's a x360 exclusive? Get the fuck out microsoft. I'm calling shenanigans on this whole thing.
Also, OP: How do you figure the PC version is shelved indefinitely?
