The ps3 will pass halo 3 again by the years end, if it doesn't either halo 3 kicked the shit out of halo 2 sales or ps3 is an abysmal failure.
And no I don't like ps3, but looking at the price drops, holiday, halo 2 sales, I doubt halo 3 will sell over 8 million by the years end nor will the ps3 be under 8 million.
Just my thoughts.
Note: Some games in my collection are no longer owned, but have owned.
