These two have a lot of history. - Adams and the mysterious being he's talking to discuss how 'others' are mobilizing, perhaps for or against them. This seems to refer to a host of other extradimensional alien species or organizations, which hidden messages seem to allude to. Now that Earth is open for extradimensional business, they may come to stake their claim, or to prevent enemies from seizing new resources. The whole thing reminds me of Buckaroo Banzai. And I think that's a good thing. Unlike Buckaroo, we're actually going to get a sequel this time, though. |
Mad props for the Buckaroo reference.
It's a given that a sequel is already planned and being prepared. I believe it was their goal all along to establish The Coduit as a franchise.
