why buy 2 similar products if one is better ? Forza will be inferior no weather night racing and especially no rally already prove that. Lack of rally will hurt Forza badly in Europe, GT5 will slaughter it there. While Nascar done right could bring that massive loyal as hell nascar fanbase over to GT. I played some nascar games and they were rather mediocre that being no surprise with EA behind it. Also Turn ten can't compete with Pd relationships with in the automotive world. They will always be by far second rate there and will never get access to cars that PD gets. The only thing Forza ever had over GT was damage, but even with that most knew it was fake unrealistic damage and did not care much about it. If a Enzo cost as much a a Viper, why would any one buy the Viper ?

Because one is not better, they offer two slightly different experiances, and thus, are both worth purchasing.
To most people Weather and night racing is just not all that important (was that even a confirmed no for when Forza3 comes out? I know other specs were going to be better upon release) Who is to say the NASCAR is going to be done right? If you can't tweak the cars (track bar adjustments, tiure pressure, gear ratios, carbourator jets, stuff like that) and you don't have 43 people racing online, then it will be crappier than the EA versions ( Nascar is about strategy and finding ways to get just a little more performance than your compeditor)
Forza has two ups over GT, Damage and Car customizability ( is that even a word? lol) While not important to all (although I would think anybody who was miffed about not having Weather and night racing would be just as miffed about not having damage) Many find the customizing very important to retain a good image while playing online, and the damage (even if it is "unrealistic") is actually very important to people looking for a more real experiance, (after all, who wants to be bouncing off of walls? A noob could win races just by bullying their way around the better drivers)
