But it's CoD and it has a fanbase, of course it will sell, but how about other third parties. Montanas post was about core games. It's quite obvious that the biggest names sell the most, no matter who developed the game. Using the logic that seems to be pretty obvious in your post, it would be like saying that shooters don't sell on 360 because Halo sold so well. Metroid isn't that big name as Nintendos other core titles, namely Mario and Zelda, so it's no wonder it didn't sell as well. I believe Corruption is the third best-selling Metroid game. |
I'm glad you addressed this, as it seems like something people try to use in an effort to marginalize Wii software sales by discounting Nintendo titles but they never do the same for the other consoles.
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
