How Similar Is Disgaea 3 to Final Fantasy Tactics A2?

Disgaea 3 is much much better than Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy Tactics A2 when it comes to gameplay.

FF is your standard grid based SRPG where you move your characters a specific amount of spaces and then use attacks and/or magic spells.

In Disgaea 3 you get the same exact things only you also have combo attacks, attacks where certain characters can merge together to create something entirely different, lifting and throwing of teammates to get over enemies and/or walls or to reach higher platforms, toss a Prinny so it explodes , 100+ characters to create and have join your ranks, tons of awesome DLC too like an additional 4 chapters just for Raspberyl.

If you want an SJRPG, Disgaea would be the first series that I would suggest. Leaps and bounds over all other possible titles IMO.

 

Come on now, any game where someone can cook a gigantic egg dish and place it on top of another character's head without him even noticing is automatic WIN.
