Well I was thinking in terms of Japan since Square-Enix is a Japanese developer and thier audience has mostly been there. In Japan Dragon Quest is bigger than Final Fantasy without a doubt. But worldwide I agree, then Final Fantasy wins.
The thing is S-E has always put Dragon Quest on the "winning" console, they are very selective with how and when they put out the games in the series and in that sense it is their biggest and most treasured franchise and the consoles that has gotten Dragon Quest has also gotten further major support from S-E. Therefore I don´t think it´s unreasonable to suggest that S-E should and will support Wii further.
