I have to agree these threads are tiresome. The reality is that the proof is in the tasting. A game is more then flashy graphics. At the end of the day how a game plays is all that matters. Somewhere along the line most of you have forgotten that this is the real deciding factor.
To answer the question about sales. Pedigree is a indicator not the decider. Were we to follow that logic we must accept that this sites sales figures are wrong. That the Nintendo console is on its last breath, and the PS3 is an unstoppable monster. Hype is an even worse indicator, because frankly it has proven wrong so often specifically with the PS3. You know where hyped games drop dead as soon as they leave the gate.
The reality is on the face of it we have a dead heat here. A gold standard exclusives sadly on a very soft platform. Versus the up and coming on a rock solid platform. Who will win it is actually a good question if you bother to try and take into account factors. Sadly nobody is going to take the time to make a serious effort.
Me I am posting in this thread to have a bookmark. I see this as a relative dead heat, but you know given the PS3s glaring software failures I must not pass up yet another opportunity. I really think this thread has mining potential five or six months from now. You know when I can strip paste comments from this when people are claiming nobody hyped this game and all.
