At the same time it kinda ruined the feeling of gaining new powers (felt more like in GOW II where I was regaining powers). It didn't help that the powers they gave us were maxed out. And the powers that weren't in the demo were unlocked too late for me to use them a lot (the shield was fucking awesome).
But, yeah, I was pretty skeptical of inFamous until I played the demo, and holy shit that was a blast. And as I learned more and more how the game worked when I bought the game, did I full appreciate my powers and combat (using the force blast to shoot back rockets =P Using the good Megaton rocket to take out the flying targets with ease).
