N64's US Launch Year: 1996.
Gamecube's US Launch Year: 2001
Wii's US Launch Year: 2006.
SNES Star Fox: 1993
N64 Star Fox: 1997.
Gamecube's Star Fox: 2002.
Wii's Star Fox: 2007. 2008. ????
We're at the halfway point in this generation. The Wii's Star Fox is still missing over 2 and a half years later. Even the SNES Star Fox came within 2 years of the system's launch. People aren't pissed because the Wii isn't going to get a Star Fox game, people are pissed because every system Nintendo has launched starting with the SNES has had a Star Fox game by this time in their respective life cycles.
