Why buy a GC, when you can buy a Wii that will play all the GC greats, many of which have been upgraded with better controls and widescreen on Wii.

idk, I think the Wii is a far better investment than a used GC. But, I look at the long-term costs vs the short-term.

Because it's a hell of a lot cheaper and I will possibly buy a WIi again in a year or so when they will hopefully be cheaper lol. I already have a PS3 will tons of games to play so I don't need another modern system.

I did end up finding a GameCube with 2 conrollers and Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime 2 for a total of $45. Now I gotta start collecting.

@ BOLD: Can't argue with that logic cause I think that Nintendo is going to lower the price either this year, or early next year. Either way it will be towards the end or begining of it's fiscal year...

*edit* Actually this thread helped me out too, lol. I had all 3 systems last gen plus my gaming pc, but I left the hobby, now that I'm back in it I can get all the games I missed on the GC for my Wii...

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?
